REPORTING PERIOD FOR THE

2015-2016 SCHEDULE OF CONTRIBUTIONS:

IT’S A GO!

The 2015-2016 Schedule of Contributions was published in the Gazette officielle du Québec, marking the start of the 90-day reporting period, which will run until October 11, 2016. We invite all companies and organizations to fill out their Company Reports on the ECO-D system and to consult related documentation, including summary sheets on the Schedule.

Before beginning the reporting process, remember that:

  • Contributions for the 2015-2016 Schedule of Contributions are payable in four instalments* (two instalments for flat fees). Please take note of the payment deadlines indicated in the table below in order to plan your instalments and liquidity management.

*These payments apply to companies who report over 15 tonnes or did not opt for the flat fee even though they were eligible.

**According to the Schedule publication date.

Advance reporting

For companies who have already entered their data in the ECO-D reporting portal on a  preliminary basis, please note that the data have been automatically copied to your official Company Report. You should now validate the information and officially submit your Company Report for your contribution invoice to be issued and thus fulfill your legal obligations.

Éco Entreprises Québec (ÉEQ) is the organization that develops the Schedule of Contributions and collects company contributions, which are then redistributed to finance municipal curbside recycling services in Quebec. ÉEQ also encourages innovation and sharing of best practices in order to optimize the recyclable materials value chain. To do so, ÉEQ cooperates, on the one hand, with companies to reduce quantities of materials at the source and encourage the use of recyclable materials, as well as with municipalities to increase recycling and the economic value of recovered materials.

ÉEQ is a private non-profit organization created by companies that put containers, packaging and printed matter on Quebec’s market to represent them. The organization was accredited by RECYC-QUÉBEC in 2005 in accordance with the Environment Quality Act.
