Look over our Fee Schedules for the containers, packaging, and printed paper you have marketed, and for your reference for your bonus.

Good to know

  • The deadline for filing your report is May 31, 2026.
  • The deadlines for making your quarterly payments are as follows: January 31 2027, April 30 2027, July 31 2027 and October 31 2027.
  • The Ecodesign Bonus has undergone a major update. The deadline for submitting a bonus application is June 30, 2026.
  • The malus rate for PVC has been increased to 75%. The malus rate for PLA and other degradable plastics remains at 50%.
  • Starting with the 2026 report, producers must report paperboard and corrugated cardboard secondary packaging ultimately intended for street-front businesses and restaurants. Please consult our reporting guide on these materials to learn more.

Producer financial participation (PFP) and compensation plan

Flat fee

If your company places between 1 and 15 metric tonnes of containers, packaging, or printed materials on the market, you may be eligible for flat rates based on the total volume placed on the market.

Eligibility criteria

> 2,5 t and < 5 t$3,070
> 5 t and < 10 t$6,150

Payment exemption

You may qualify for a payment waiver if you meet one of the following criteria:

  1. Place less than 1 MT of material on the market
  2. Have annual revenue of $1M or less ($1.3M as of 2024)
  3. Are a retailer with a single outlet with a floor space of less than 929 m2

Ecomodulation measures

The containers, packaging, and printed papers you report could be eligible for a credit on your PFP if you have implemented ecodesign actions, or they may be subject to a penalty. Visit the page on eco-modulation to learn more.
