The transformation of Quebec’s curbside recycling system means that Éco Entreprises Québec is now responsible for raising awareness and educating people about recycling and recovery matters, which we do through our dedicated website for the public: Bin Impact. What can you do to make sure you convey the same messages in your communications? We have put together a toolkit to help.

Our toolkit aims to provide the following:

  • Digital tools to help you craft coherent messages to the public
  • Guidelines for correctly using Bin Impact’s graphic elements
  • Tips on how to integrate the content into your communication tools

Standardized list of containers, packaging, and printed matter accepted for curbside collection

For the first time, all Quebecers will have access to the same reference list of materials they are allowed to put in their recycling bin. The list can be found here. Some of the containers, packaging, and printed materials it contains are not immediately recycled, but placing them in the bin helps increase volumes, which in turn supports the development of markets for their future reclaiming.

Images and pictograms

All our digital images and pictograms are available for use in your social media content, communication tools, and printed matter.

This database will be expanded over time and is the only source to be used for all your communications. If you want to develop other images or pictograms that reflect Bin Impact’s image and colours, they must be approved by our marketing team to ensure brand uniformity.
