Bin Impact launches the sorting game Ça va-tu dans le bac? (Does it go in the bin?)

Éco Entreprises Québec, through its citizen brand Bin Impact, is launching the game “Does it go in the bin?”, a free new tool designed to help Quebecers make the right recycling choice.

Accessible on both mobile and desktop, the game features a simple and intuitive mechanic: swipe right if an item goes in the recycling bin, swipe left if it doesn’t. Each answer comes with clear explanations to understand why certain items belong in the bin and why others do not. At the end of the game, players receive a score along with practical tips to reinforce good recycling habits.

The game is designed to evolve with the seasons, remaining fresh and engaging through regularly updated themes.

Why this game? Because making the right recycling choice improves the performance of the curbside recycling system. And with this new game, Éco Entreprises Québec makes sorting clearer—and more fun. Since 2025, there has been a single list of accepted materials across Quebec. Sorting is now simplified and standardized: containers, packaging and printed papers. That’s it. With Bin Impact, Éco Entreprises Québec aims to make sorting more accessible and, above all, to improve the quality of recyclable materials.
