Reminder: It’s Reporting time!

The 2015-2016 Schedule of Contributions was published in the Gazette officielle on July 13, 2016. Companies and organizations have until October 11 to submit their Company Report in the ECO-D system. Documentation and training capsules on the Schedule of Contributions are available on our website. Don’t forget that ÉEQ also offers guidance on the reporting process by phone, e-mail or even in person.

The following table shows payment deadlines in order to plan your instalments and liquidity management.

Contributions for the 2015-2016 Schedule of Contributions are payable in four instalments* (two instalments for flat fees).
 

*These payments apply to companies who report over 15 tonnes or did not opt for the flat fee even though they were eligible.
**According to the Schedule publication date.

Consultation meetings on the 2017 Schedule of Contributions will be held on October 25 in Montréal and on October 27 in Toronto. It is an opportunity to meet with us to ask any questions and share your comments on the topic. More details will be provided later.

Éco Entreprises Québec (ÉEQ) is the organization that develops the Schedule of Contributions and collects company contributions, which are then redistributed to finance municipal curbside recycling services in Quebec. ÉEQ also encourages innovation and sharing of best practices in order to optimize the recyclable materials value chain. To do so, ÉEQ cooperates, on the one hand, with companies to reduce quantities of materials at the source and encourage the use of recyclable materials, as well as with municipalities to increase recycling and the economic value of recovered materials.

ÉEQ is a private non-profit organization created by companies that put containers, packaging and printed matter on Quebec’s market to represent them. The organization was accredited by RECYC-QUÉBEC in 2005 in accordance with the Environment Quality Act.
