CONSULTATION ON THE 2014 SCHEDULE OF CONTRIBUTIONS

REGISTER FOR THE FEBRUARY 18 OR 20, 2014, MEETING

On February 18 and 20, 2014, Éco Entreprises Québec will present its draft 2014 Schedule of Contributions in Montréal (also available via audio-broadcast) and in Toronto to companies and organizations targeted by the compensation plan. These consultation meetings constitute the official process prescribed by the Act and the means by which we take your questions and comments into consideration for the Schedules of Contributions submitted for Board approval and transmitted to the government: Be there!

THE 2013 SCHEDULE OF CONTRIBUTIONS IS LIKELY TO COME INTO EFFECT this winter

As announced last December, the coming into effect of the Regulation on the compensation of municipal curbside recycling services has required changes to the payment calendar for the 2013 Schedule of Contributions, which, unlike the previous calendar, will not require a payment in January 2014. The 2013 Schedule of Contributions is expected to come into effect this winter, following which companies will have 90 days to submit their Company Report.

ATTEND THE MEETING FOR MORE INFORMATION!

We know that processing information on the 2013 Schedule of Contributions at the same time as that on the 2014 Schedule may generate some confusion and require explanations. That is why ÉEQ is extending a special invitation to companies to the consultation meeting. We will also take this opportunity to present the payment calendar in person and discuss our objectives for 2014 regarding the services we offer to companies to help them with the reporting process and provide tools to support their eco-responsible business practices. TIPS FOR PRODUCING A COMPLIANT COMPANY REPORT

Develop an efficient and accurate methodology based on our Hints and Tips to Produce a Compliant Company Report while waiting for the 2013 Schedule of Contributions to be published. You can already compile data on materials to include in your Company Report, which are those put on the market between January 1 and December 31, 2012.
