Bin Impact, Partner of the 2026 Saint-Jean-Baptiste Day
In Quebec, recycling has become a collective reflex — one we can all be proud of.
Montreal, June 16, 2026 — For the first time since its establishment in 2024, Bin Impact, Quebec's leading curbside recycling reference, has become a major partner of the province’s Saint-Jean-Baptiste Day. It’s a perfect opportunity for the blue bin brand to celebrate being a part of our collective identity.
To mark the occasion, Bin Impact is also teaming up with Bleu Jeans Bleu, another source of local pride, to launch a song and a video clip that underscore, with the humour and well-known effectiveness of the band’s catchy tunes, what goes in the bin: containers, packaging, and printed paper. That’s it.
Claude Cobra (Bleu Jeans Bleu) wrote Bin Impact’s new musical theme, "C’est juste ça qui va dans le bac bleu."
The blue bin on the Plains of Abraham On June 23, Bin Impact will be at the heart of the celebrations held for the public in Quebec City. On the agenda:
Try the special Saint-Jean edition interactive sorting game called Wait, does this go in the blue bin? to test your knowledge of what goes and what doesn't go in the blue bin;
“Fall into the bin” is a fun activity where the participant, sitting on a chair, answers sorting questions and falls into a bin filled with foam blocks at the first wrong answer.
“This partnership confirms that recovery has become an integral part of our habits and who we are as Quebecers. Curbside recycling has evolved from an individual gesture to a strong social norm, rooted in our values. On Saint-Jean-Baptiste Day, together with Bleu Jeans Bleu, we will highlight our collective recycling efforts on this important occasion which brings Quebecers together.” — Maryse Vermette, President and CEO of Éco Entreprises Québec.
