Conference on Canadian Stewardship: ÉEQ to host the 2017 edition in Montréal

Éco Entreprises Québec (ÉEQ) is proud to be hosting the 2017 Conference on Canadian Stewardship—a major biennial convention that attracts world-renowned speakers and delegates from across Canada, the United States and Europe. Following the 2015 edition in Banff, conference organizers chose Montréal to host the event, which coincides with the city’s 375th anniversary.

This year’s Conference on Canadian Stewardship will be held at Le Centre Sheraton Montréal Hotel from September 27 to 29 under the theme of extended producer responsibility and circular economy.

“The Conference on Canadian Stewardship is a key event for ÉEQ and other stakeholders concerned by extended producer responsibility in Canada and abroad,” stated Maryse Vermette, president and chief executive officer of Éco Entreprises Québec. “It was therefore only natural that we get involved in the organization of the conference in Montréal to promote Québec’s know-how and contribute to the event’s success.”

Hundreds of delegates are expected to take part in the conference, which brings together business representatives, manufacturers, retailers, chambers of commerce and industry associations, federal, provincial, territorial and municipal governments as well as North American and European stewardship organizations.
