Eco-design and Circular Economy team welcomes two new resources!

Éco Entreprises Québec is pleased to announce the arrival of two new eco-design and circular economy consultants. Marie-Christine Thibault, a graduate of UQÀM in environment design and Cléo Poirier-Myskynski, who holds a master’s degree in Environment management, will complete the team lead by Geneviève Dionne. Under the direction of Ms. Dionne, the team’s staff has doubled, which will enable us to guide more companies in matters of eco-responsible packaging design, a mission ÉEQ has taken on in order to promote the optimal performance of curbside recycling in Québec.

Indeed, especially in the last year, better design in packaging has become a true priority for local companies. Incorporating environmental criteria and carrying out comprehensive analyses of life cycles are fundamental steps from the very start of the creative phase. Although this work is necessary, the task itself is not an easy one. In this initiative, Éco Entreprises Québec’s unique expertise in the field was called upon for some fifty guidance projects in 2019.
