Éco Entreprises Québec welcomes Elise Laferrière, corporate affairs and government relations advisor  

 

Elise Laferrière has close to 20 years’ experience in business development, partner relations and operations management. Her role as an advisor to the members of Éco Entreprises Québec’s senior management team will enable her to develop and consolidate ties with decision-makers at all levels of government, as well as with business partners and sector organizations. She will focus specifically on analyzing and positioning priority issues related to Éco Entreprises Québec’s activities.

Before joining Éco Entreprises Québec, Elise Laferrière served as vice-president of operations and partnerships at Écotech Québec. She also led the training, international trade and business intelligence teams of the Chamber of Commerce of Metropolitan Montréal and was a key liaison with the World Bank Group for Québec’s private sector. She worked in business development at Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton, as the assistant general manager of a small fair-trade food importer and distributor, as a consultant to the communications branch of the Canadian International Development Agency and as an export aid for Costa Rican producer federation FUNDECA.

Elise Laferrière earned a bachelor’s degree in international development with a major in economics from the University of Toronto and an MBA from HEC Montréal.
